What do you get when you mix one part recycling, one part effects pedal, and a dash of love for insanely obsolete technologies found only in the guitar-wielding class of Homo Sapiens? A springy, amp-like tremolo housed in a recycled electronics enclosure! The Thrift Shop Trem is a classic sine wave tremolo that hearkens back to amp-top tremolo units of early electric guitardom. Each unit comes with speed and depth controls, switchable fast/slow channels, a volume control with enough juice to give your signal a (hefty) boost, and a remote on/off footswitch.
Each of these units is unique and hand-made, meaning they are a time-intensive labor of love. We try to incorporate some of the item’s original functionality into each pedal! This pedal requires standard 9V center negative power. We recommend a Boss PSA-120 or some other isolated power supply.
All MarcusMods pedals come with a 2 year warranty from date of purchase. We provide shipping labels both ways within 30 days of purchase. From 30 days to 2 years, the buyer is responsible for shipping the pedal to us. We will cover return shipping. More than 2 years from purchase, the buyer pays shipping both ways and we offer repair services at reasonable prices.
